Arthur Lautner founded Omega Venture Group Inc. in July, 2003, to facilitate the acquisition of his former company, Conduit Capital Corporation, and to consolidate his other business interests.
Mr. Lautner received his formal education in business at the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology and has held marketing, management, and financial positions within private industry and both the Alberta and Canadian Governments. He has been a director on the boards of a number of private corporations and non-profit organizations and was a corporate development consultant to Intuit from 2012 to 2014.
From 1990 to 1999, Mr. Lautner was a managing partner in two venture capital funds prior to joining one of Western Canada's leading investment banking boutiques, Lambridge Capital Partners.
In 1999, Mr. Lautner formed Conduit Capital Corporation in partnership with a Seattle based securitization advisory firm, Watterson~Prime. Subsequent to the PricewaterhouseCoopers acquisition of Watterson~Prime, Omega acquired Conduit Capital in July 2003.
